Lenora L. Eitenmiller, 93, of Pekin passed away at 1:45 am Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Pekin Manor. Lenora was born on October 25, 1916 in Pekin to William and Hazel (Wade) Pfanz Sr. She married Alfred Eitenmiller on March 8, 1941 in Burlington, IA. He died on January 19, 1990. Also preceding in death are two brothers, William Jr. and Donald Pfanz. Surviving are: two daughters, Gail (Darel) Knaak of Manito, IL and Paula Kibler of Pekin, IL; three grandchildren, Kathy (Irv) DuBois, Lesli Kibler and Daniel Knaak; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Alisha DuBois; twin brothers, Jene (Dorothy) Pfanz and Jack (Barbara) Pfanz both of Pekin. Lenora was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Funeral InformationFuneral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, December 14, 2009 at St. Paul United Church of Christ. Rev. Dwight Borden will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm Monday at the church. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 15 at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Henderson Funeral Home is assisting Lenora’s family with the arrangements.
